Earlier this month, FES Just Climate Director Claudia Detsch participated in Euronews’ German talk show “Brüssel, meine Liebe?”. Up for debate was Europe’s car industry and its modernisation towards climate neutrality in the context of strong global pressure. Detsch cited a lack of reliable framework conditions, technological innovation and cheap clean vehicles as the main challenges for the sector. She called for fast support measures and an ambitious long-term European clean tech strategy.
