Global competition requires us to choose sectors in which Europe can excel as well as industries that we want to maintain for security of supply. Our recent policy study, jointly with FEPS and ZOE, shows how to prioritise industrial sectors for the EU’s clean industry transition. It also presents instruments for better coordination of policies along joint priorities. Hence, the study covers crucial elements for the debate about the EU’s soon to come Clean Industrial Deal.
